When Every Minute Counts
Your child has a fever. It’s 9 PM. You need medicine now, not tomorrow.
But which pharmacy is still open? Where is the nearest one? Do they have what you need? And most importantly — do you have enough cash?
With Find & Pay, finding and paying for medicine takes less than 60 seconds. Here’s exactly how to do it.
Step 1: Open the Find & Pay App
If you haven’t already, download Find & Pay from the Google Play Store (iOS coming soon).
Once installed, open the app. You don’t need to create an account to search for pharmacies, but you will need one to pay.
Step 2: Search for Pharmacies
On the home screen, you’ll see a search bar and category icons.
Option A – Use Categories:
Tap the “Drug Stores” or “Pharmacies” icon. The app will instantly show all registered pharmacies near your current location.
Option B – Search by Name:
If you know the pharmacy name (like “JIT Pharmacy” or “Pioneer”), type it into the search bar.
Option C – Search by Location:
Type a neighborhood name like “Hai Malakal” or “Konyo Konyo” to see pharmacies in that area.
Step 3: Check Important Details
Tap on any pharmacy to see its profile page. Look for:
- Operating Hours – Is it open now? Some pharmacies are 24/7.
- Phone Number – Call ahead to confirm they have your medicine.
- Directions – Tap “Get Directions” to open Google Maps.
- Services – Some pharmacies offer delivery. Check the profile.
💡 Pro Tip: Look for the “Open Now” badge. It saves you from traveling to a closed pharmacy.
Step 4: Contact the Pharmacy (If Needed)
Not sure if they have your medication? Use the call button directly in the app.
Pharmacies listed on Find & Pay respond quickly because they know you have other options.
Step 5: Pay with Mobile Money – No Cash Needed
This is the best part. You don’t need to carry cash to the pharmacy.
At the pharmacy:
- Tell the pharmacist you want to pay with Find & Pay
- They will show you a QR code or give you their merchant number
- Open Find & Pay, tap “Pay,” and scan or enter the number
- Confirm the amount and enter your PIN
- The pharmacist receives the payment instantly
For delivery orders:
- Place your order by phone or through the app
- The pharmacy sends a payment request to your Find & Pay app
- You approve the payment
- Your medicine is delivered
No cash. No change problems. No contact needed.
What If You Don’t Have Mobile Money?
If you haven’t registered for mobile money yet:
- Visit any MTN agent (they are everywhere – look for the yellow sign)
- Give the agent cash (any amount from 100 SSP to unlimited)
- They will add that amount to your mobile money wallet
- You’re ready to pay digitally
It takes less than 5 minutes to register if you’re a first-time user.
Real Example: Finding Medicine at 10 PM
Let’s say it’s late and your child has a fever.
Without Find & Pay:
- You drive around looking for an open pharmacy (30+ minutes)
- You find one, but they don’t have children’s medicine
- You drive to another (15 more minutes)
- You finally find the medicine, but you don’t have exact change
- You overpay or give up
With Find & Pay:
- Open app, tap “Drug Stores” (5 seconds)
- See three pharmacies open near you (10 seconds)
- Call each one to check for children’s medicine (2 minutes)
